What is the Family Giving Campaign?

Each year, the Driscoll PTO raises money through the Family Giving Campaign to ensure that we can continue to succeed in our mission to support the Driscoll Community throughout the school year.

Now more than ever, PTO funding makes a difference in our kids’ education.

PTO teacher grants provide important classroom and PPE materials for our amazing educators and support the technology to help every student excel. PTO funding takes our students’ experience beyond what the school budget can offer…and its success depends on you.

How much should I give?

This year, the Driscoll PTO will spend $250 per student to continue to offer the same level of programming and support we have in the past. Our suggested donation is $125/child but contributions in all amounts are welcome and appreciated!

Our fundraising goal for 2023 - 2024 is $40,000. Our goal is for 100% of Driscoll families to participate in the Family Giving Campaign. Every family’s ability to give is different so please donate what you can. Every donation makes a difference.

When should I give?

The Family Giving Campaign begins on March 1, 2024 and will run throughout the month of March. However, donations to the PTO are welcome at any time!

Why should I give?

The Family Giving Campaign helps make a great school even better! Many of the programs and events that make Driscoll special are partially or fully funded by the Family Giving Campaign. Your support enables us to:

Support our Teachers

Every year, the Driscoll PTO puts aside over $10,000 to be awarded as Teacher Grants. These grants can be used for additional classroom materials to keep our students motivated and engaged. Without the Family Giving Campaign, our teachers end up funding these materials themselves!

Student Enrichment

Some of our students’ favorite memories of Driscoll are entirely supported by the Family Giving Campaign. Science Solstice, Arts Equinox, the Science Fair, author readings, and the Book Fair are just some of the events throughout the year that make Driscoll special, but are not covered by the school budget.

Build Community

The Driscoll Community is made up of families, and the PTO holds many events throughout the year to bring all of our families together.  From the Fall Fling and Trunk or Treat to All-School Ice Skating and the Spring Fair, your contributions ensure that we can continue to expand our community-building efforts.

Support All Of Our Students

The PTO offers numerous programs to support every student, regardless of their income level. From the Driscoll Loves Books program, which ensures that each student gets a book during the Book Fair, to scholarships for field trips and our afterschool program, the PTO is committed to ensuring that every single one of our students has the same opportunities at Driscoll.

Please donate this March!

Every gift, no matter the amount, supports our community of diverse, curious, and motivated students and educators. All contributions are tax deductible.
